Nurse Practitioner - Mary Alice Nelson, ARNP
Hi! I’m Mary Alice. I received my Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner degree in Women’s Health Care from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. I’m Board Certified in Women’s Health Care by the National Certification Corporation and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

I have Fifteen years of experience in gynecology, obstetrics and birthing and will see patients at our Fort Walton Beach Clinic.

I’m the Nurse Practitioner and a certified Laser Technicians performing Laser Hair Removal at American Laser Center of Fort Walton Beach.

Technician –Gracie Griffin
Hi! I’m Gracie Griffin. I’m a true native. I was raised in Mary Esther, FL, graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School and attended OWC for a couple of years, before finding my way into medical aesthetics.
I went to school for Skincare & Electrolysis at About Face & Teaching Institute and did my Laser training at Lazer Blazers in St. Augustine.

I’ve been a Laser Technician and Esthetician at American Laser Centers since the opening of the clinic in Feb 05, performing Laser Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation. I’m a member of ESF (Electrolysis of Florida), which keeps up with state laws and legislature on the use of lasers and electrolysis and the SCMHR (society of clinical and medical hair removal) national organization that keeps up with the latest advancements in the Laser/Light based device industry.

Technician – Debra DesJardins
Hi! My name is Debra. I’ve been studying the field of Electrology and Skin Care since 1986. I’m trained in all areas of needle as well as laser hair removal. My experience in intense pulsed light treatments, greatly diminishes the signs of aging, while giving the skin a younger, more youthful appearance. I truly believe that making a difference in my patients lives has and will always be my top priority.

Technician – Shannon McClanahan
Hi my name is Shannon. After graduating from About Face and Teaching Institute in February of ’07, I proudly became an Esthetician at American Laser Centers, performing Skin Rejuvenation and Cellulite Reduction. I love working here and the time I spend with co-workers! It’s not hard to see why if you have ever been to our clinic. We have a great atmosphere. A great staff means so much to a business and this is a wonderful group!

Overall I really enjoy providing an enjoyable and rejuvenating experience for my patients and seeing them leave our clinic as happy as can be. Whether it’s for Hair Removal, Fotofacials, Skin Tightening, Micros, VelaShape or our awesome products. Our patients know we have passions for what we do here and they know what we do works!

Marketing/PR - Ingrid Coats
Hi! My name is Ingrid Coats. I was born in Mexico and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, just 30 minutes outside of New York City. I graduated from Boston College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Upon graduation, I accepted a job in Account Management for Meers Advertising in Kansas City, MO. Meers Advertising is a marketing agency that specializes in creating brands and awareness of new products, ventures and programs.  While I worked with agency Account Executives in directing and coordinating assigned projects, I developed a fascination for media and began exploring job opportunities within that field. In August of 2005, I accepted a job with CBS Radio in New York City as an Account Executive.

So why did I move to Destin? After visiting Destin one summer, I simply fell in love with the Emerald Beaches and wanted to be near loved ones.  I had always wanted to live in Florida, so I just made the move, knowing that I could find a similar job in broadcast media. In August of ’06, I continued my advertising sales career with Cumulus Broadcasting in FWB for about a year before I was offered and accepted a marketing position with American Laser Centers. At ALC, I’m responsible for creating and executing the marketing plan, monitoring its effectiveness, and building relationship within the community. ALC in Fort Walton Beach is continually growing and I’m proud to say that I’m a part of this amazing team on the Emerald Coast.  And I work the most wonderful people, just come in and see for yourself!

Marketing/Sales – Angie Guillory
Hi my name is Angie Guillory. I am originally from Baton Rouge, LA. I attended LSU and earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I am still a huge LSU fan & love to make it back home for the football games. Go Tigers! My family & I have always enjoyed vacationing in Destin, so once I graduated, I thought this would be a great place to live. I accepted a job as an account executive for Cumulus Broadcasting and moved here in Sept ’04. A few months later, I accepted the American Laser advertising account & began working very closely with the clinic & it’s staff. In Oct. ’06, I accepted a position as Marketing Director for American Laser. A year later, my position has evolved a bit. I am still involved in the marketing and advertising for the clinic, but now most of my time is spent in consultations. This is where I have found that my passion lies. I enjoy meeting new people every day and helping them to feel better about themselves. With this job, I have met some amazing people and continue to look forward to meeting the next person that walks through the door. Watching American Laser grow to its full potential has been an incredible experience for me.
